Steve writes: I thought you might be interested in my steel 32 5 window , I found this car in a carport about a 10 minute drive from my home! it was under a rotten blue tarp in a carport that was falling down. it apparently came from the town of Sooke on Vancouver Island in the late 60's / early 70's. I would like to find out more history on the car if anyone has any , I can be contacted at s.w@shaw.ca It was painted with green metalflake and had a white interior with chrome garnish mouldings , it had a frenched dual antenna in the passenger side upper upper rear quarter and 53 buick tailights. it now has a 4" chop ,3 row louvered hood , original dropped headlight bar , chrome garnish mouldings , vintage sw guages and 56 studebaker mechanical tach ( driven from the fan belt) and speedo ,64 gto tilt column, door and kick panels upholstered in 1955 , glass cut from a 60's highway bus . It is riding on a So_cal chassis with buggy spring in the rear with a 5" magnum tube axle up front and has a 1968 327 , Muncie m22 rockcrusher , 3:55 9" posi . it is rolling on 15x4" and 15x9 3/4" halibrands . the car has just been put back on the road after a 4 year restoration .
