This is an example of a cool old style rod owned by John Harris in Houston, Texas. Here's his story:
I have only owned the 32 Ford 4 Door Sedan for a little over a year, but it was originally built by Total Performance for Southern Classic Rod Shop in New Orleans. The car was featured in ‘Popular Hot Rodding Magazine” in 1976. The car has the original steel body and frame that has been boxed. It has a 350 Chevy eng, W/ T-400 Auto Trans, A/C, Zenith knock-off wire wheels, etc. etc… I have done several additions and upgrades to the car since I’ve owned it, mostly cosmetic, $$$$, (if ya know what I mean?).
I have always owned and built muscle cars/corvettes and this is my 1st venture into the “street rod” scene. I have really enjoyed learning and working on the car, and the new group of great folks I’ve encounter along the way.
